Powergaming / Powergamer 

A player who builds their character with the primary goal of maximizing mechanical strength and efficiency, often at the expense of story or roleplay. This approach focuses on exploiting system mechanics, optimal combos or min-maxing to outperform typical expectations. Powergamers can elevate the party’s combat effectiveness, but may disrupt balance if their character overshadows others. The term is usually neutral to mildly critical, depending on group expectations.
