We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to enhance your customer experience.

3. Ordering Process

3.1. Initial Order Placement:
* Website Orders: Customers may place orders through the Geeknson website (geeknson.co.uk) with full payment.

* Email Orders: Customers may place orders via email. These actions constitute an initial order placement and do not, in themselves, create a legally binding contract.
3.2. Order Verification and Processing:
* All orders, regardless of placement method, are subject to verification by the Geeknson team.
* Geeknson reserves the right to cancel an order if:
* An error in pricing is identified.
* A technical error within the webshop has enabled the order of a product that Geeknson is unable to process.
* In such cases, Geeknson will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the issue and make reasonable efforts to find a suitable alternative product or issue a full refund.
3.3. Consultation and Specifications: Given the bespoke nature of many Geeknson products, the ordering process typically involves detailed consultations and the establishment of precise specifications. 3.4. Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided, including specifications, measurements, and delivery details.
3.5. Official Order Confirmation and Contract Formation:
* A legally binding contract is formed only when all of the following conditions are met:
* A member of the Geeknson team has contacted the customer and provided official order confirmation following consultation.
* The customer and Geeknson have agreed upon the final specifications.
* Geeknson has received the agreed-upon deposit or full payment.
* Upon meeting these conditions, Geeknson will send an order acknowledgment email, confirming your order number, payment details, and a summary of the agreed-upon specifications.

4. Product Specifications (Emphasis on Natural Materials and Bespoke Work)

4.1. Geeknson,. specializes in handcrafted furniture using natural materials. Variations in wood grain, color, and texture are inherent to these materials and contribute to the unique character of each piece.
4.2. Bespoke orders will be produced according to the agreed-upon specifications. However, due to the nature of handcrafted work, slight variations may occur.
4.3. Detailed specifications, including dimensions, materials, and finishes, will be confirmed before production begins.
4.4. Customers should be aware that natural wood may react to environmental changes, such as humidity and temperature.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1. Product prices are as displayed on our website or communicated by our sales team are inclusive of VAT and other taxes, where applicable.
5.2. We take reasonable care to ensure accurate pricing. However, if a pricing error is evident, we may cancel the contract, refund your payment, and request the return of the product.

6. Delivery

6.1. Our logistics team will contact you to confirm delivery details, including access and location.
6.2. The confirmed delivery price covers delivery to the address provided. 6.3. Incorrect delivery information may result in additional charges or delivery to a ground-level location. 6.4. Our delivery team will take photographs of assembled furniture for record-keeping. 6.5. You are responsible for verifying product measurements and ensuring adequate delivery access. 6.6. Ensure safe and clear access for delivery. We are not liable for damage caused by obstructed access, unless due to our negligence. 6.7. Please ensure someone over 16 is present to receive the delivery. 6.8. Clear any obstructions from the delivery path. We are not responsible for damage to items not removed, unless due to our negligence. 6.9. Delivery times may vary by location. 6.10. Delivery dates are subject to availability. 6.11. Order changes may affect delivery dates. We may deliver orders in installments at no extra charge, unless requested by you. 6.12. Failed deliveries due to your non-adherence to pre-agreed delivery terms, or other factors under your control, may incur a fee to cover our direct costs. 6.13. Delivery times are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays due to unforeseen circumstances. 6.14. Report product issues upon delivery. Our customer service will respond within two working days. 6.15. We are not liable for damage to products delivered to your third-party carrier. 6.16. Product responsibility transfers upon delivery to your address or your chosen carrier. 6.17. Ownership transfers upon full payment and delivery. 6.18. We do not remove packaging.

7. Cancellation and Returns

7.1. You have a 14-day cooling-off period, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive, during which you can cancel your order without giving a reason.
7.2. Cancellation requests after 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
7.3. Deposits are non-refundable.
7.4. Cancellation requests must be sent to info@geeknson.com.
7.5. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email).
7.6. Following your notification of cancelation you have 14 days to return the goods.
7.7. We will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of their return.

8. Faulty Products and Warranty

8.1. We are legally obligated to provide products that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
8.2. Contact us to discuss resolutions for faulty products.
8.3. We provide a 12-month warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, from the date of delivery. 8.4. The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, natural wood characteristics, misuse, or damage from external factors.
8.5. We may repair, replace, or refund faulty products. We reserve the right to inspect and repair products.

9. General Terms

9.1. Products are for personal use only, not for resale.
9.2. These Terms and Conditions are in English.
9.3. You may not transfer your rights.
9.4. We may transfer our rights or obligations.
9.5. Only you and we have rights under these Terms and Conditions.
9.6. Our trademarks and intellectual property may not be used without consent.
9.7. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9.8. Invalid terms do not affect the validity of the remaining terms.
