FAQ

Questions we hear every day.

Is it a real dining table, or just a gaming table with a lid? +
It's a real dining table first. The topper is solid wood. Guests sit around it for dinner without ever knowing what's underneath. Remove the topper in 30 seconds and you have the finest gaming surface ever made. Same room, ready for both.
What wood is used? Is it solid or veneer? +
Real wood, real craft in Ash or Oak. Every table is built in solid European Ash as standard: pale, strong, and sourced from European forests. Prefer the deeper grain of Oak? Oak is available as an upgrade, with the price shown on the product page. Either way it's solid hardwood throughout, top and frame, never veneer, never MDF.
How long does it take to build my table? +
Every Geeknson table is made to order. Most standard tables take 3 to 4 months in production. Some larger or more complex models, such as Henry, may take 4 to 5 months. Custom tables take 6 months or more. Chairs and benches take about 2 months. Production time is not the same as your delivery date. Our team confirms the delivery method and timing with you before dispatch.
How is my table delivered? +
Specialist furniture delivery is available for selected tables and destinations. Our team confirms the delivery method before dispatch. Your table is built in our European workshop. For US orders, our team confirms the delivery route and timing before dispatch.
How do Geeknson tables handle food and drink? +
Some Geeknson tables include design features that help reduce the risk from small spills, but they are not liquid resistant. Protection depends on the model and configuration. We recommend using a transparent tablecloth or another protective cover when the table is used for food and drinks.
Can I see the table before buying? +
Yes. We have a UK Showroom in Evesham, Worcestershire, open by appointment. Most customers make their decision the moment they touch the wood. Bring your partner.
What if something goes wrong? +
Please check your table at delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery note. If you notice a visible issue after delivery, tell our team as soon as possible and include photos or a short video, because they are our eyes on the issue. We review each case individually and agree the best way to put it right. This does not affect your statutory rights. Rated 4.8/5 on Trustpilot across 180 verified reviews.
